Designed to the exact specifications of the United States Marine Corps, the TA31RCO-M4CP features a red dual illuminated reticle and a unique Rifle Combat Optic reticle pattern that provides quick target acquisition at close combat ranges while providing enhanced target identification and hit probability out to 800 meters. Long-range shots are delivered with greater accuracy thanks to the Bullet Drop Compensator. Coming complete with an ACOG TA51 flattop, Picatinny rail adapter mount with colt style thumbscrews, the scope is designed for use with M16M4 Weapon system (14.5-inch barrel).
The TA31RCO-M4CP incorporates dual illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium with the revolutionary, both-eyes-open Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC),for 'instinctive' target acquisition and increased hit potential. Dual illumination allows the aiming point to always be illuminated without the use of batteries. The Scopecoat is constructed of the highest quality neoprene laminated with nylon. Its simple design safeguards the scope or sighting system from dings and scratches, dust, dirt, and moisture. Neoprene has 5 percent greater moisture absorbency, which takes moisture (condensation and sweating) away from the scope or sight and helps protect it from rust and corrosion. The nylon laminate shields the scope against the elements. Simply stretch both ends of the Scopecoat over your ACOG sight for optimum field protection.
